About the role
The Dalles, Oregon-based Adventist Health Columbia Gorge offers a range of healthcare services including a 49-bed hospital, various medical offices, home health, a birthing center, and more. Responsibilities
- Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
- Performs a variety of imaging procedures such as general radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Affords patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric with assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating their care.
- Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
- Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information.
- Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
- Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education and Work Experience: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)), Advanced Certification in CT, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Fluoroscopy license in state of employment (CA and OR), Venipuncture certification (CA and OR).
- Organizational Requirements: Adventist Health requires all associates to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. Medical and religious exemptions may apply.
