About the role

The Adventist Health Northwest Heart Center, located on our medical center campus, provides advanced cardiovascular care, bringing together expert providers, innovative treatments and compassionate support for patients across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Affords care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
  • Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
  • Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.
  • Maintains accurate records, files and billing information.
  • Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
  • Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education and Work Experience: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
  • Licenses/Certifications: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
  • Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CABasic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
  • Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR
  • Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
  • ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required

Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of computed tomography (CT) equipment and procedures, ability to maintain accurate records, and proficiency in using PACS and teleradiology systems.

Pay

The estimated base pay for this position is $43.11 to $64.62. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc.
