CT Technologist (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Located in a tight-knit community in Kings County, Adventist Health Hanford has been serving the Central Valley since 1965. Responsibilities
- Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions.
- Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Affords assessments, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
- Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
- Utilizes PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.
- Maintains accurate records, files and billing information.
- Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
- Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education and Work Experience: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
- Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required in CA, if employee operates fluoroscopy equipment
- Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR
Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
Skills
- Proficiency in operating CT equipment
- Knowledge of PACS and teleradiology systems
- Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Good communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare providers

Pay
The estimated base pay for this position is $45.39 to $62.26. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
