CT Technologist (OFNHP), Full-Time, Variable

About the role

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes. Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) (required)
• Advanced Certification in CT (required in OR and HI, preferred in CA)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (required)
• Fluoroscopy license in state of employment (preferred in CA and OR)
• Venipuncture certification (preferred in CA and OR)
• ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification (required)

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location
• Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
• Ensure the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and other patient confidentiality guidelines
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Pay

The estimated base pay for this position is $45.33 to $73.24 per hour. Additional compensation may include differentials, extra shift incentives, or bonuses.

Schedule

Full-time regular, 4/10 shift (four 10-hour days per week).
