CT Technologist (Full-Time)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Responsibilities

  • Operate diagnostic CT scan equipment to produce images used for patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Assist radiologists with special examinations and ensure the accuracy of images.
  • Utilize RIS and PACS systems proficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment maintenance and stock management.
  • Perform calibration and quality assurance checks daily.
  • Apply radiation protection principles for patient and self-safety.
  • Use proper positioning and technical factors to ensure diagnostic image quality.
  • Report equipment issues and maintain proper documentation, including interventional billing.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • Valid NJ Radiology license and ARRT Certification.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Previous experience in CT imaging.
  • Preferred: CT Certification.

Key Duties

  • Provide patient-centered care with discretion and good judgment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and equipment functionality.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency and safety in all procedures.
