Job Summary

Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months. Full Time, Rotate

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment safely
• Maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, the medical staff, and patients
• Applies knowledge and skills necessary to perform all functions of the job including technical competence in the field
• Demonstrates self motivation in performing job duties
• Follows department policy, and procedures to perform all job functions
• Explains procedures to patients and family, and demonstrates sensitivity with respect to the family and/or significant other as an individual family unit
• Provides for privacy of the patients
• Operates all equipment in a safe and effective manner according to the manufacturer’s guidelines
• Serves as a resource person and assists in the orientation of new associates regarding compliance with imaging specific policies and procedures
• Adheres to the Radiology compliance of the JCAHO, MQSA, NRC, and other mandated clinical certifying agencies standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certificate; Required
• FL State Technologist License; ARRTARRT with CT Certification 6 months to obtain from hire date
• BLS approved by the American Heart Association
