Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist with all phases of peanut planting, growing, harvesting, shelling, weighing, and grading process of peanuts.
About the Role
The position is a full-time temporary help needed to assist in all phases of the peanut planting, growing, harvesting, shelling, weighing, and grading process to obtain accurate yield and grade data from each plot and plant selection while maintaining genetic purity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma is preferred
- Peanut Research Experience is Preferred
Skills
- Ability to understand oral instructions and perform tasks given
- Ability and willingness to work with existing technicians to carry out tasks requested on a timely basis
- Ability to operate small FSIS grading equipment
