CRT - Respiratory Therapist - Multiple Shifts

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to provide patient evaluation, care, and education for individuals with respiratory conditions such as asthma and distress.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans based on diagnoses.
• Implement, monitor, and adjust respiratory care and equipment.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and available support programs.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, manage supplies, and ensure proper sterilization.
• Respond to emergency resuscitation calls.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist credential from the Alabama Board of Respiratory Therapy.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy.
