Cross Trainer Lead - Male

Seasonal position running May 24 – August 15, 2026. Minimum age 18.

About the role

Oversee the male Cross-Trainers (CTs) in the dish room and around campus. By living, eating, and serving on-site, staff model the values of Camp Lurecrest Ministries as outlined in the Summer Staff Handbook and contract both on and off the job.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the camp dining service, including dishes clean-up and dining-facility sanitation
• Coordinate water coolers
• Coordinate trash pick-ups around camp grounds
• Manage and disciple male CTs
• Perform hands-on tasks while teaching and investing in campers in a support-staff role
• Respond with grace in high-stress situations

Requirements

• At least one full year out of high school with relevant experience
• Able to work on your feet, be outside all day, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk up to 5 miles in a day
• Signed agreement of CLM Summer Staff Handbook
• Successful completion of CLM Orientation Training Program

Qualifications

• Professing Christian who commits to follow the mission and vision of Camp Lurecrest Ministries
• Ability to lead a male CT team
• Works well with others
• Able to complete job tasks while being attentive to camper experience and overall safety
