Crop Claims Supervisor - Illinois

About the role

This role provides leadership and oversight for all crop insurance claim investigations and settlements within the assigned district, ensuring accurate coverage interpretation, adherence to regulatory and company procedures, timely claim resolution, and the delivery of exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates and coordinates to establish and achieve goals for assigned areas.
• Makes sure that metrics are monitored and measured to improve results, efficiencies, and adherence to claims goals, policies, and procedures.
• Affirms consistency across claims operations for assigned areas.
• Provides guidance and counsel to claims personnel with respect to the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of all crop claims.
• Supervises the development of assigned staff, including succession planning and administering and monitoring employee development to align with corporate and divisional needs.
• Maintains current contact information for all employees in applicable areas and communicates with non-recovery employees during a disaster.

Requirements

Typically requires 6+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.

Base Pay Range: $93,200-$128,150

Incentive Pay: Eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
