Critical Care Nurse Practitioner

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to manage patients in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit in a vibrant city known for its sunshine, outdoor activities, cultural attractions, and diverse recreational options.

Responsibilities

• Directly managing cardiac ICU patients, including performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures
• Interpreting diagnostic tests and prescribing medications
• Providing education, consultation, and participating in research activities
• Involvement in evening patient care management
• Collaborating within a team environment
• Providing comprehensive cardiovascular care in a fast-paced ICU setting

Qualifications

• Current ACNP certification
• CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Prescribing privileges, including DEA license for controlled substances

Skills

• Experience in cardiology or critical care preferred
• Motivated new graduates encouraged to apply
