Responsibilities
- Round on critically ill patients in the ICU
- Perform admissions and consultations
- Manage medications and treatment plans
- Perform procedures including central line placement, arterial line placement, intubation, chest tube placement, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, bronchoscopy, paracentesis, etc.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, and Master's of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Current licensure by the Virginia State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority
- Maintains BLS and ACLS Certifications
- Hold a current, active license as a registered nurse in Virginia or hold a current multistate licensure privilege as a registered nurse
- Nationally recognized certification in field of specialization

- Experience in critical care setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for patient care and a commitment to professional development
