About the role
We are seeking dedicated Crisis Service Professionals to provide on‑call crisis response, risk assessments, and mobile support for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies in Adams & Juneau Counties.
Responsibilities
- Respond to crisis calls and conduct risk assessments
- Offer brief counseling and follow-up to clients in crisis
- Meet clients in various settings such as homes, hospitals, and community locations
- Gather information and connect clients to community resources
- Maintain relationships with law enforcement and community partners
- Document all interactions thoroughly and accurately
- Stay informed on relevant laws and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related fields
- Preferred experience in mental health or crisis response
- Knowledge of community resources and crisis assessment skills
- Ability to work independently under pressure
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Schedule
- On‑call crisis response role with quick response times within an hour in the assigned counties
- Occasional travel for meetings or training
