About the role

The Crisis Center Manager oversees clinical services in the Crisis Center, which includes a Brief Intervention Clinic and Crisis Stabilization Unit. This role provides clinical leadership, supervises assigned staff, and consults with clinicians and providers to ensure appropriate levels of care and access to necessary services.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the services provided and workflow through direct clinician interventions, delegation, and coordination of staff roles
  • Ensures quality care for all people seeking assistance
  • Ensures excellent customer service
  • Ensures the appropriateness of staff interactions with people served
  • Manages all operations of the team on shift
  • Ensures collaboration and coordination with community providers
  • Reinforces a team culture that is positive, accountable, and responsive to the needs of the people served and the community

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Counseling Psychology
  • Fully Licensed in the State of Michigan as a Master Social Worker, Professional Counselor, or Psychologist
  • At least two years of post-Master’s degree experience in the behavioral health field
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention and treatment methodology
  • Computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office programs and telehealth

Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience
  • MCBAP, CAADC certification
  • Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued

  • Proficiency in crisis intervention and treatment methodologies

Benefits

  • 25% premium pay
  • $6 shift differential
  • $2,000 sign-on bonus

Pay

  • $33.01 - $46.22 per hour

Schedule

  • Saturday’s from 6:30pm to 7:00am
  • Additional participation in a 1-hour manager meeting
