Installation Crew Member – Metalcrafters NC Goldsboro, NC Full-Time Opportunity for Growth Build Your Career — One Step at a Time Metalcrafters NC is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and motivated Installation Crew Member to join our field installation team. As an Installation Crew Member, you'll work alongside an experienced Installation Foreman and crew to safely and efficiently install custom miscellaneous metal products, including stairs, handrails, guardrails, gates, ladders, and other custom-fabricated metal products on commercial job sites. Every day and every job site can look a little different, so being adaptable, safety-minded, and a strong team player is important. What You'll Be Responsible For Assist with the installation of stairs, railings, handrails, gates, ladders, and other miscellaneous metal productsPerform field welding and fabrication as required to complete installationsRead and accurately use a tape measure and levelSafely operate hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipmentAssist with loading, unloading, staging, and handling fabricated materialsFollow approved drawings, project requirements, and direction from the Installation ForemanWork efficiently as part of an installation crew to keep projects moving safely and on scheduleMaintain company tools, equipment, PPE, and crew vehiclesKeep job sites, work areas, and company vehicles clean and organizedFollow all company and jobsite safety requirementsCommunicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and project managementIdentify potential jobsite challenges and work with the crew to solve problems proactivelyArrive on time, prepared, and ready to workRepresent Metalcrafters professionally and positively on every job site The position works as part of an installation team and requires the ability to adapt to changing jobsite conditions, perform strenuous manual labor, maintain the crew's pace, and contribute to safe and efficient installations. What We're Looking For Must be at least 21 years of age for company insurance purposesMust have a valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record that meets Metalcrafters' insurance requirements for operating company vehiclesMinimum of 1 year of welding experience requiredPrevious miscellaneous metal, construction, or field installation experience is preferredAbility to accurately read a tape measure and levelStrong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding workGood communication and problem-solving skillsPositive, can-do attitudeAbility to follow directions and work effectively as part of a teamWillingness to learn new installation methods, equipment, and skillsAbility to work in changing jobsite environments and conditionsWillingness to work overtime when necessary, including early mornings, late days, and occasional weekendsMust obtain and maintain required safety certifications, including First Aid/CPR, forklift, scissor lift/telehandler, and OSHA 10-hour certification Why Join Metalcrafters?
