Installation Crew Member

About the role

American Greetings is a global leader in the Celebrations marketplace. As a Retail Fixture / Installation Crewmember you will assemble, construct, and tear down greeting‑card fixtures in retail locations, helping the company fulfill its purpose “to make the world a more thoughtful and caring place.”

Responsibilities

• Construct greeting‑card shelves, racks, and displays.
• Follow instructions, planograms, and diagrams to set up fixtures.
• Assist the Installation Supervisor in gathering and moving materials needed for display resets.
• Connect effectively with team members and store associates.

Requirements

• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment, and supplies up to 60 lb (with or without reasonable accommodations).
• Proficiency with small hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, drills) used to install and modify fixtures.
• Willingness to travel overnight out of town when required.
• Comfort with crowded environments, close quarters, loud noises, and low‑level lighting conditions.

Pay

Starting pay is $16.20 per hour (subject to change based on work location). After 6 months the rate increases to $17.10, and after 1 year of continued employment it increases to $18.00.

Schedule

The position averages 15 hours per week, increasing to about 16 hours per week around holidays. Hours may vary based on business needs.
