Installation Crew Member

American Greetings is a global leader in the Celebrations marketplace. As a Retail Fixture / Installation Crewmember you’ll be a vital part of the company’s purpose – to make the world a more thoughtful and caring place. The role involves assembling, constructing, and tearing down greeting card fixtures in retail locations.

Pay

• Starting pay: $17.60 per hour (subject to change based on work location).
• After 6 months: $18.60 per hour.
• After 1 year: $19.50 per hour.
• Paid travel time when traveling in a company vehicle.
• Hotel and per diem paid for overnight travel.

Schedule

• Average of 15 hours per week, increasing to about 30 hours per week around holidays.
• Hours vary based on business needs and may include occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Construct greeting card shelves, racks, and displays.
• Connect effectively with team members and store associates.
• Follow instructions, planograms, and diagrams.
• Assist the Installation Supervisor in gathering and moving materials needed for display resets.

Requirements

• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment, and supplies up to 60 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodations).
• Proficiency with small hand tools used to install and modify fixtures (hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, drills).
• May require occasional overnight travel out of town.
• Exposure to crowded environments, close quarters, loud noises, and low‑level lighting conditions.
• Must be 18 years or older.
