This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with loan officers to manage complex commercial banking relationships
• Conduct detailed credit analysis and prepare comprehensive credit packages for approval
• Monitor compliance with borrowing base reports and loan covenants
• Identify early warning signs for potential borrower issues through regular financial reviews
• Provide customer service to clients, participating in sales calls and direct correspondence
• Submit required reports promptly and resolve associated issues efficiently
• Possibly mentor junior Portfolio Managers to enhance their skills

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Finance or related field
• 5+ years of commercial banking experience, particularly in credit underwriting
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• In-depth knowledge of maturing loans, term extensions, and loan restructuring processes
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex documents
• Self-starter with a track record of mentoring peers and taking initiatives
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with commercial lending software

Pay

$141,354 – $207,900 annually
