Credit/Collections Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer credit files, payment histories, and account activity
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on delinquent balances
• Communicate with customers regarding payment status and outstanding invoices
• Research and resolve account discrepancies and billing concerns
• Evaluate customer creditworthiness and recommend credit terms and limits
• Maintain accurate customer records and supporting documentation
• Partner with accounting to support cash flow objectives and month-end processes
• Generate aging, collections, and account status reports for management

Qualifications

• Previous experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable, or related accounting functions
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• A high school diploma or equivalent required; no college degree necessary
