Responsibilities

  • Credit Administration & Portfolio Support:
    • Coordinate and track receipt of underwriting documents from customers.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual loan and credit reports.
    • Support covenant tracking, tickler systems, and annual review processes.
    • Maintain accurate and complete data in the loan management system (nCino).
    • Order, review, and track third-party reports such as appraisals, real estate evaluations, and collateral audits.
    • Manage borrowing base certificate tracking and review accounts receivable aging reports.
    • Monitor construction loan advances and supporting documentation.
    • Absorb and assist with internal audits of credit processes.
    • Attend Credit Committee meetings and document meeting minutes.
    • Support loan participation reporting and information sharing with partner institutions.
    • Complete ACH relationship annual reviews and other credit-related reporting as directed.
  • Credit Analysis & Underwriting:
    • Assist with or independently analyze loan requests and annual reviews.
    • Evaluate cash flow, collateral, guarantor strength, and industry trends.
    • Prepare written credit presentations summarizing risk and key considerations.
    • Identify policy exceptions and recommend risk ratings.
    • Recommend loan structures, covenants, and risk-mitigation strategies.
  • Partnership & Development:
    • Participate in client calls with Relationship Managers.
    • Work collaboratively with lenders and Credit leadership.
    • Provide guidance or mentorship to junior credit or administration staff.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience:
    • 4 year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
    • A minimum of three years commercial credit experience.
    • We’re also seeking seasoned professionals with 10+ years of experience.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
    • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
    • Professional discretion and respect for confidentiality.
    • Collaborative, respectful, and service-oriented approach.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • Experience with nCino a plus.
    • Experience with Jack Henry, LaserPro, or financial spreading software a plus.
