About the role

This position involves providing exceptional sales and service support within a banking environment, assisting clients with transactions, account openings, and product recommendations. The role emphasizes consultative conversations to identify client needs and offers cross-selling opportunities to deepen relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily financial transactions, including deposits, currency handling, and check cashing.
• Open and process various deposit accounts such as savings, IRAs, and certificates of deposit.
• Assist clients with loan applications and facilitate referrals to bank partners.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a high-quality client experience.
• Maintain compliance with banking regulations, policies, and internal controls.
• Support daily operations, assist with audit controls, and contribute to team training and development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred experience as a teller.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, 10-key calculators, and coin counters.
• No specific licenses or certifications are necessary.
• Background checks and compliance with regulatory requirements are mandatory.
