Full-Time Universal Banker

About the role

This position involves providing exceptional sales and client service support at a banking center. Responsibilities include processing financial transactions, opening and managing deposit accounts, and recommending suitable banking products through consultative conversations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with teller and platform functions to minimize client wait times and ensure quality service.
• Identify client needs and promote relevant products and services.
• Open and process various deposit accounts, including savings, IRAs, and certificates of deposit.
• Make referrals and cross-sell to deepen client relationships and generate new business.
• Conduct outbound calls to clients and prospects, supporting deposit and loan campaigns.
• Assist clients with loan applications and coordinate processing with appropriate teams.
• Resolve client inquiries, research account issues, and ensure excellent customer experiences.
• Attend training to enhance product knowledge and ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and internal controls.
• Support daily operations, participate in training new staff, and stay updated on operational changes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, with preferred experience as a Teller.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, 10-key calculator, and coin counter.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily and adapt based on experience and education.
