Job Summary

TMH Physician Partners is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator. This position coordinates the appointment, credentialing, and re-credentialing processes for medical and allied health staff members in accordance with Medical Staff Bylaws and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards. Responsibilities include maintaining staff information in existing systems, providing information to requesting departments, hospitals, and agencies, planning, coordinating, and performing administrative activities for medical staff meetings and special affairs, and assisting the manager and committee chairs with fulfilling required functions.

How You'll Make An Impact

The Credentialing Coordinator will support the Medical Staff Services team by ensuring all medical and allied health staff members are credentialed and re-credentialed according to established guidelines. They will maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, they will assist with organizing and facilitating medical staff meetings and other special events.

What You’ll Need To Apply

  • Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or business administration
  • Required Experience: One (1) year of payer enrollment or provider credentialing experience
  • Required Certification/License/Registry: None
  • Preferred Certification/License/Registry: Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) credential(s) from the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS)

Essential Job Functions:

  • Coordinate credentialing and re-credentialing processes
