Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Coordinate credentialing processes for new hires and vendors to ensure timely onboarding.
- Verify licenses, certifications, and approvals against regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory guidelines in all credentialing activities.
- Maintain and update credentialing records with accuracy and audit readiness.
- Track credentialing pipelines and provide status updates to stakeholders weekly.
- Generate and analyze metrics to measure credentialing efficiency and cycle time.
- Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to resolve credential gaps swiftly.
- Affiliate documentation and controlled access to sensitive credentials.
- Identify process improvements to streamline credentialing workflows and reduce bottlenecks.
- Prepare reports on credentialing milestones for leadership review and forecasting.
- Support training initiatives to upskill team members on credentialing best practices.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in credentialing, regulatory compliance, or on-boarding administration.
- Strong knowledge of licensing, certification, and regulatory guidelines applicable to roles.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR, administration, or healthcare-related field.
- Proven ability to maintain audit-ready credentialing records and controlled access.
- Experience with credentialing software, databases, or applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent data analytics skills; track metrics like cycle time and throughput.
- Process improvement mindset; identify bottlenecks and implement solutions.
- Strong collaboration with HR and hiring managers to resolve gaps quickly.
- Ability to prepare leadership-ready reports and forecast credentialing needs.
- On-site presence with disciplined time management and high visibility to metrics.
