About the role
We're partnering with a creative technology studio that builds immersive, experiential, and technology-enabled work for ambitious brands. They're looking for a Creative Director to join their Experiences team, leading creative across immersive environments, interactive installations, brand activations, and large-scale experiential work for Tech brands. This is a heavily pitch-led Creative Director role. Around 70% of the position will be focused on proposals, pitching, concept development, and selling ideas into clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead creative development across experiential, immersive, and technology-enabled projects.
- Shape early-stage ideas for proposals, competitive pitches, and new business opportunities.
- Build compelling creative narratives that turn complex or ambiguous briefs into clear, sellable ideas.
- Lead the development of pitch decks, concept presentations, and client-facing creative materials.
- Present and sell creative work internally and externally, carrying the room with confidence and clarity.
- Work across brand environments, immersive spaces, installations, activations, interactive experiences, and themed or narrative environments.
- Guide projects from initial concept through design development and final execution.
- Collaborate closely with designers, strategists, technologists, producers, and external partners.
- Provide clear creative direction while elevating the wider team's thinking and craft.
- Stay hands-on where needed across visual direction, design development, concept visualisation, spatial thinking, or creative problem-solving.
- Use AI and emerging tools thoughtfully to expand creative exploration, accelerate ideation, and strengthen the overall quality of creative thinking.
Requirements
- Strong Creative Director-level experience within experiential, immersive, spatial, interactive, or technology-led creative work.
- A portfolio that demonstrates built work across environments, installations, activations, experiences, systems, or interactions.
- Proven experience leading pitches, proposals, concept development, and client-facing creative presentations.
- Strong storytelling ability, particularly across pitch decks, creative narratives, and concept presentations.
- The ability to turn abstract, technical, or complex ideas into clear and compelling creative propositions.
- Strong creative taste, judgement, and clarity of vision.
- Hands-on fluency in at least one of the following areas: graphic design, digital design, visual systems, spatial graphics, motion, 3D, environmental modelling, concept visualisation, or real-time rendering.
- Experience across two or more of the following areas: experiential marketing, brand activations, themed entertainment, attraction design, narrative environments, permanent or touring installations, interactive experience design, cultural moments, festivals, tentpoles, world's fairs, or fan experiences.
- Comfort using AI and emerging creative tools as part of the creative process, with a clear point of view on how they support better thinking rather than simply faster output.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as graphic design, digital media, architecture, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in creative leadership roles within the industry.
- Experience working with a diverse range of clients and industries.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

- Strong conceptual and design skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant software.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to lead and inspire a creative team.
