Creative Arts Therapist (Per Diem)

This role involves providing creative arts therapy interventions to patients, caregivers, and bereaved persons in hospice and palliative care settings within Nassau and Queens counties. Responsibilities include accepting and triaging referrals for therapy servicesconducting comprehensive clinical assessments during initial visitsdelivering tailored creative arts therapy interventions to address physical, psychosocial, and spiritual issuesdocumenting clinical progress according to agency standardsparticipating in clinical training and supervising therapy internssupporting program growth, research, education, and marketing efforts Qualifications include current NY-State licensure or permit in creative arts therapy, national certification in music therapy through the Certification Board for Music Therapists, at least one year of experience in hospice, palliative, or medical settings, and a valid driver’s license with a vehicle.
