About the role
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as previous Pipe, Valve, and Fittings (PVF) experience and a strong working knowledge of pipe, valves, fittings, flanges, and related oilfield/industrial materials.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous Pipe, Valve, and Fittings (PVF) experience is required
- Strong working knowledge of pipe, valves, fittings, flanges, and related oilfield/industrial materials
- Must be capable of independently identifying and verifying common PVF materials, specifications, quantities, and potential discrepancies
- Previous experience in receiving, inventory control, oilfield supply, warehouse operations, construction materials, project support, or a related field required
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company requirements
- Must be able and willing to safely pull and operate a non-CDL trailer loaded with materials using a company vehicle
- Must be comfortable loading, securing, transporting, and unloading materials when required
- Working knowledge of proper load securement and safe material transportation practices
- Strong computer skills, including spreadsheets, email, inventory systems, and company software
Responsibilities
- Identify and verify incoming pipe, valves, fittings, flanges, and other PVF materials
- Review PVF materials for accuracy and identify potential discrepancies before materials are accepted, staged, transferred, or delivered
- Assist Check In Associates with PVF identification and material-related questions
- Coordinate loading, unloading, staging, and movement of Capital Projects materials
- Pick up, deliver, or transfer materials between RK Supply locations, vendors, project sites, or other designated locations
- Safely operate a company vehicle while pulling a non-CDL trailer containing materials
- Verify loads and ensure materials are appropriately secured before transportation
- Coordinate with Capital Projects personnel, vendors, purchasing, and other departments to resolve material discrepancies
- Assist with urgent material pickups and deliveries when necessary to support project needs

- Ability to accurately verify materials against purchase orders, packing slips, transfer documents, project documentation, and other records
- Ability to recognize incorrect materials, quantities, specifications, damaged products, and other discrepancies
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and follow discrepancies through resolution
