Court Operations Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and revising court forms, including creating Word and fillable PDF versions of forms
  • Aiding in the development and revision of reference materials such as court operations manuals, user guides, and training presentations, utilizing new and emerging platforms
  • Generating and publishing web content for court staff and the public
  • Aiding in organizing and scheduling in-person and virtual trainings and meetings
  • Compiling and analyzing statistics, including creating Excel spreadsheets
  • Creating surveys, collecting responses, and analyzing results
  • Familiarity with new and emerging technology and applications for presentations and adult education

Qualifications

  • One year in the Court Analyst title; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Candidates must have strong writing, editing, communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with computer software and applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint and the Adobe Acrobat suite
  • A general familiarity with the NYS Trial Courts, being a proactive problem solver, having the ability to organize and prioritize tasks, working as part of a team and collaborating with stakeholders
