Responsibilities

  • Serves as a public-facing representative providing guidance to court users while ensuring the efficient processing of court records, filings, and administrative functions.
  • Sets docket numbers and enters case information into court management systems.
  • Maintains and organizes court files using established filing procedures.
  • Prepares notices, orders, correspondence, hearing schedules, and other court-related documents.
  • Answers telephone calls and assists members of the public, attorneys, and court personnel.
  • Prepares summonses, subpoenas, warrants, and other legal documents in accordance with court procedures.
  • Operates recording equipment during court proceedings when assigned.
  • Collects, records, and reconciles court fees and other financial transactions.
  • Maintains confidentiality of court records and sensitive information.
  • Performs related clerical and administrative duties assigned.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent.
  • One to two (1-2) years of administrative, clerical, customer service, or office experience.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with case management systems and standard office software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
