Course Coordinator, Pre-Clerkship Curriculum.

Description

To provide curricular and administrative support for implementation and delivery of courses in the Geisel School of Medicine’s Phase 1 pre-clerkship curriculum for MD students.

Partners with faculty course leaders to support ongoing monitoring, review, and revision of the curriculum.

Contributes to academic operations that deliver a personal, connected and transformative learning experience for students.

Required Qualifications

• Education and Yrs Exp: Associates plus 2-3 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Skills, Knowledge And Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively, independently, and as a member of a team. Ability to communicate politely and professionally with all members of the educational community. Willingness and ability to exercise judgment and initiative and to interact with a diverse set of faculty and personnel in a professional manner. Flexibility and openness to change. Ability to plan work, set priorities, and respond to pressures, deadlines, and changes in schedules and priorities. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain and foster confidentiality. Proficiency in database management, spreadsheets, and other computer software. Willingness and ability to learn additional computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s plus 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Work experience in course coordination, learning support, or education program delivery
• Bridges a sense of humor and joy to work
