About the role

Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service features. Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area. Provides related customer service functions.

Responsibilities

• Lifts 50 lbs and maneuvers packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Communicates effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the station's service area.
• Adapts to changing situations and maintains high standards of courier methods.
• Maintains neat appearance due to customer contact.
• Maintains a safe and alert working state.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Six (6) months courier experience preferred
• Area knowledge demonstrated
• Age of at least 21 years
• Ability to read and speak English
• Valid driver's license and good driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the station's service area
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods

Benefits

TBD, variable days. The desired location is Novi, MI. Employees will work at the FedEx location five days a week.

Current Step Pay: 24.53 - 37.23 USD Hourly
