Courier/Swing Drvr/DOT-2

Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and performs related customer service functions. Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months of courier experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of the station’s service area.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs; maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of courier methods and adaptability.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials.
• Neat appearance due to customer contact.
• Must meet federal motor carrier safety regulations and pass a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record as outlined in company policy.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Pay

$25.65/hr - $38.93/hr

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
