We’re on the lookout for new trustees and a new treasurer at St Augustine’s College of Theology. Help us shape the future of the college.
About the role
As a trustee or Treasurer, you’ll help guide a college that welcomes people from all walks of life as they prepare for ministry, service, and theological study. You’ll join a diverse board of trustees that genuinely enjoys its role, each other’s company, and the impact it has on the college and our students.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that everything the college does serves its purpose and values.
- Set policies, procedures, and overall strategy for the college.
- Hold the Principal and staff accountable for delivering these policies and procedures.
- Give financial oversight and offer guidance on financial matters.
Requirements
- Share our commitment to forming thoughtful and faithful leaders for the Church and beyond.
- Comfortable reviewing financial information and confident offering guidance on financial matters.
- No need to be a qualified accountant, but should be comfortable with financial information.
Qualifications
While we value academic credentials, we're more interested in who you are as a person. No specific qualifications are required, but we're looking for individuals who want to make a real difference.

Schedule
The Board of Trustees usually meets six times a year. Meetings are held at the college's headquarters in central London.
