About the role

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN opportunity in Quincy, MA. This flexible role offers the chance to provide hands-on occupational therapy services while helping residents improve everyday skills, functional abilities, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, strengthening, coordination, balance, and functional tasks
• Follow individualized treatment programs established by the supervising OT
• Observe resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the therapy team
• Reinforce adaptive techniques and strategies that promote safety and independence
• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation
• Collaborate with rehabilitation and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts COTA license required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
• New graduate COTAs are welcome to apply
