Cosmetologist

Mosholu Montefiore Community Center (MMCC) is the largest not-for-profit provider of education, employment, health, and recreation programs in the North Bronx, serving more than 28,000 residents each year. About the role

The Cosmetologist will provide professional lessons on makeup and nail care services to middle school students twice a week. This is a part-time, on-site role located in Bronx, NY.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional lessons on makeup and nail care services to middle school students
• Schedule and teach students how to create appointments
• Manage client records
• Collaborate with staff to support community events or wellness programs

Requirements

• Skills in nail and skincare services, including basic manicures, pedicures, and facial treatments
• Knowledge of sanitation, hygiene, and safety practices in accordance with state and local regulations
• Excellent client service skills, including communication, active listening, and the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
