About the role

This is a full-time, on-site Cosmetologist role located in Raleigh, NC. The Cosmetologist will provide a range of hair services, including cuts, color, oil-based highlights, perms, and keratin treatments, while ensuring excellent service and client satisfaction. Daily responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand their needs, recommending suitable styles and treatments, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workstation. The role also involves building lasting client relationships, supporting a friendly team atmosphere, and contributing to the overall guest experience. Cosmetologists are expected to stay current with trends and techniques and follow salon policies, safety, and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license in the state of North Carolina and compliance with all relevant regulations and sanitation standards.
• Demonstrated skills in hair cutting, styling, color application, highlighting, perms, and keratin treatments for diverse hair types and ages.
• Ability to provide thorough client consultations, recommend appropriate services and products, and deliver consistent, high-quality results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service, professionalism, and maintaining a welcoming, family-oriented environment.
• Reliability in managing appointments, punctuality, and working collaboratively in a team-based salon setting.
• Willingness to learn new techniques, keep up with industry trends, and participate in ongoing training or education.
• Previous salon or cosmetology experience is preferred; experience with multigenerational clientele is a plus.
