About the role
The Corrugator Supervisor position is a salaried full-time role on the 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am. Located at 4847 Cargo Drive, Columbus, Georgia 31907.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise one assigned shift of hourly employees.
- Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and engagement goals are met through supervision, direction, and leadership.
- Train, plan, assign, direct, evaluate, reward, and discipline employees.
- Evaluate and resolve conflicts among employees.
- Lead and motivate employees by setting an example of superior behavior, attitude, and performance.
- Communicate operational information in both oral and written formats to crew members, supervisors, plant management, office personnel, and external customers and vendors.
- Promote and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and other organizational programs and initiatives.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in the corrugated packaging industry.
- Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
