Correctional Industries Sales and Marketing Representative

About the role

This role focuses on promoting Correctional Industries products, building customer relationships, and supporting sales and marketing activities.

Responsibilities

• Establish contacts with institutions, agencies, schools, and local governments to promote CI products
• Conduct presentations, attend conferences, and distribute catalogs, samples, and brochures
• Prepare reports, scheduling calendars, and correspondence about activities and customer needs
• Visit CI shops, act as liaison, and relay customer feedback regarding product quality and delivery
• Prepare quotes, process orders, answer inquiries, and follow up on issues or concerns
• Maintain customer records, follow performance standards, and care for assigned vehicle and supplies

Qualifications

• One year of professional sales experience in a manufacturing or service oriented production operation, and a bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business administration, or a closely related area
• An equivalent combination of experience and training
• Active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent
• Reside in or be willing to relocate to one of the following counties: Bradford, Carbon, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Northampton, Pike, Schuylkill, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Wayne, or Wyoming
• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA
• Ability to perform essential job functions
