Corporate Trainer
About the role
The Corporate Trainer will deliver comprehensive training programs to ensure all Fello employees receive essential compliance and skills-based education. Working within the People & Culture division, this role is responsible for conducting in-person and virtual training sessions across the Greater Chesapeake Region, with a focus on maintaining regulatory compliance for disability service providers and enhancing employee capabilities at all organizational levels.
Responsibilities
- Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions covering compliance topics such as HIPAA, emergency response, and safety protocols.
- Assess practical competencies like CPR, First Aid, and driver safety, providing constructive feedback to support employee development.
- Track training completion and documentation while remaining adaptable to evolving regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify training needs and contribute to organization-wide development initiatives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in adult learning facilitation and curriculum development.
- Ability to engage diverse learners through interactive, hands-on training methods.
- Detail-oriented in tracking training completion and documentation.
- Proficiency in learning management systems, Microsoft Office applications, and various training technologies.
- Physical ability to travel regionally and work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Four or more years of professional training facilitation and curriculum development experience, with disability services experience preferred.
- A high school diploma or GED is required, though a bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
