Corporate Strategy Associate

You will partner closely with business leaders in Molex's Aerospace & Defense Solutions division to evaluate growth opportunities, assess strategic decisions, and develop market perspectives that shape the future of the business. In order to comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations, this position requires applicants to either provide proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status or be eligible to receive an export authorization (a license) under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations.

About the Team

You will join Molex's Corporate Strategy team, a group that works alongside executive and business leaders to address some of the company's most important growth and investment decisions. Supporting a dynamic and growing division, you'll gain broad exposure to market strategy, business operations, product portfolio decisions, and new market development while working in a highly visible role that directly influences business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with business, operations, and supply chain leaders to measure and refine strategic choices
  • Identifying and assessing business profit drivers and return on investment
  • Assessing existing business performance and identifying new growth opportunities and profit improvements
  • Developing point-of-view and strategies to address new markets, product segments, and business models
  • Leading industry research to inform market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive analysis
  • Building acquisition strategies & landscapes, including exposure to origination, analysis, diligence, and close
  • Preparing and presenting management and board-level materials

Requirements

  • Experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, Private Equity, Investment Banking, or a similarly analytical business environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex business challenges and translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present recommendations to senior leaders and executives
  • Proven ability to think strategically and frame business decisions, tradeoffs, and opportunities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications

  • Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, defense, or technology industries
  • Financial modeling, business case development, or scenario analysis experience
  • Strong business acumen and economic thinking
  • Natural curiosity and a bias toward data-driven decision making

Pay

For this role, we anticipate paying $100,000 - $120,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
