Role Summary
The Corporate Paralegal will work directly with associates at all levels of the business, from individual contributors to senior leadership, in many different functional areas. The role will report directly to the Chief Legal Officer and will be based at Quanterix’s headquarters in Billerica, MA. The role demands strong inter-personal, communication and time-management skills in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. What You’ll Do
- Support the Company’s key businesses and functions through the drafting and negotiation of relevant agreements (including template and non-standard agreements).
- Prepare and review various agreements and ancillary documents including non-disclosure agreements, consulting agreements, master service agreements and statements of work.
- Aid counsel in the preparation and review of more complex agreements.
- Interpret existing non-standard or more complex contracts or other legal documents, with assistance from counsel.
- Administer and train select employees on the use of the Company’s contract management system.
- Support the Company’s public company filings and activities. Assist with the preparation and filing of quarterly reports, annual reports and proxy statements; prepare and file Section 16 and current reports.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of Board-related materials and information. Manage arrangements for the Company’s annual meeting of stockholders.
- Perform legal research and analyze relevant statutes, decisions, codes, etc., providing findings to counsel.
- Support ongoing company-wide initiatives, including policy development, template standardization and adoption of contract-related technologies.
- Train and guide business teams on the use of routine and/or non-standard contract templates, contract issues and best practices.
- Assist the Chief Legal Officer with scheduling and administrative tasks as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree or paralegal certification
- 5+ years of relevant legal work experience, with experience in a public-company corporate environment preferred
Prior to Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating routine commercial contracts
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively
- Strong interpersonal skills; positive and approachable demeanor
- Adept at balancing numerous matters and prioritizing effectively; strong time management and organizational skills
- Unassailable integrity and ethics
- Proficient with relevant IT tools for modern in-house legal practice, including CLM systems

Pay Range
$105,000 - $130,000 per year
