Corporate Paralegal

Job Responsibilities

• Supports all aspects of a contract lifecycle, including preparing initial drafts, reviewing, revising, negotiating, and preparing agreements for execution.
• Assists with corporate governance activities, such as maintaining corporate records and compliance filings.
• Assists in corporate transactions, such as international franchise arrangements and joint ventures.
• Performs administrative tasks, including coordinating for signatures, agreement searches, mailing, and other related matters.
• Prepares major presentations on behalf of the Corporate Legal team.
• Sets up and maintains technology solutions, including the contract lifecycle management system and legal billing software.
• Supports other departments on legal issues, including researching laws, ordinances, and statutes.
• Works on special projects, including in areas of data privacy, marketing, and corporate governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience.
• Paralegal certification required.
• Successfully completed initial and periodic trainings.
• A valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay

Pay Range: P2: $72,500 - $101,500 / Annual

Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.

About the Role

The Corporate Paralegal provides broad legal and administrative support to the Corporate Legal team related to commercial contracts, legal research, corporate governance, data and privacy, and legal operations support.
