About the role
Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, is seeking a full-time 4th - 6th year associate in the Corporate practice of their Houston, TX office.
Responsibilities
- Experience working with private equity funds, financial sponsors, and portfolio companies in connection with M&A transactions, capital raises, joint ventures and securities offerings.
- Experience drafting and negotiating definitive transaction documents (including purchase agreements and governance documents).
- Attending to the day-to-day needs of portfolio companies.

- Strong academic background.
- Superior drafting and research skills.
- Diligent, detail-oriented, proactive, supportive, and team-oriented personality.
- Admitted to the Texas Bar.
- Willingness to participate in community and professional organizations as part of professional development.
