About the role
The Corporate and Private Equity Department at McGuireWoods is seeking an Associate to support their growing practice. The position can be based in either the Dallas or Pittsburgh office.
Responsibilities
- Support the representation of private equity funds in acquisitions
- Work with clients and colleagues to develop innovative solutions using technology platforms like Harvey AI
- Contribute to the expansion of the private equity department's national platform
- Engage in strategic thinking and client relationships
Requirements
- 4 - 5 years of experience in acquisitions for private equity funds
- A strong academic record
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with clients and colleagues
- Willingness and desire to work with innovative technology platforms
- Texas bar membership required
