Private Equity/M&A Mid-Level Associate

About the role

The Client's Los Angeles office is seeking a corporate associate to join the private equity and mergers & acquisitions group.

Responsibilities

- Represent financial sponsors and strategic buyers/sellers in connection with leveraged buyouts, sell-side transactions, growth equity and minority investments, and related strategic transactions. - Act as lead associate on deals. - Draft deal documents. - Run diligence processes. - Supervise both specialist teams and junior corporate associates.

Requirements

Candidates should have: - Four to six years of M&A and/or private equity transactional experience in the corporate department of a top-tier law firm. - Experience acting as lead associate on deals. - Strong drafting and deal structuring skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

All candidates must be: - Admitted to the California Bar.
