What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day execution of M&A transactions from inception through closing
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, counterparties, and deal teams
- Draft and negotiate key transaction documents with precision and commercial insight
- Manage due diligence processes and coordinate multi-disciplinary workstreams
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys, ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Identify risks and proactively resolve issues to maintain deal momentum
What You Bring
- 4–8 years of experience in corporate law, with a strong focus on M&A
- Demonstrated ability to lead domestic and cross-border transactions
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating principal deal documents
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with sharp attention to detail
- Proven experience mentoring junior lawyers and overseeing delegated work
- Exposure to a range of industries is advantageous
Requirements
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar membership in good standing (or ability to gain admission in the relevant jurisdiction)
- Previous experience working in a law firm is required
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive compensation range: $290,000 – $420,000 (commensurate with experience)
