Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting and negotiating principal transaction documents
  • Leading and managing M&A transactions from structuring through closing
  • Coordinating across practice areas to ensure seamless deal execution
  • Supervising and mentoring junior associates
  • Advising clients on corporate governance and general corporate matters
  • Delivering practical, business-focused legal advice in close collaboration with partners

Qualifications

  • JD required
  • 4–7 years of prior experience at a law firm with a strong emphasis on public and private M&A
  • Proven ability to run workstreams and manage transaction components independently
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Experience supervising junior attorneys is strongly preferred
  • Texas bar admission or eligibility to waive in
