Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating principal transaction documents
- Leading and managing M&A transactions from structuring through closing
- Coordinating across practice areas to ensure seamless deal execution
- Supervising and mentoring junior associates
- Advising clients on corporate governance and general corporate matters
- Delivering practical, business-focused legal advice in close collaboration with partners
Qualifications
- JD required
- 4–7 years of prior experience at a law firm with a strong emphasis on public and private M&A
- Proven ability to run workstreams and manage transaction components independently
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Experience supervising junior attorneys is strongly preferred
- Texas bar admission or eligibility to waive in
