About the role

A globally respected law firm is seeking a mid to senior-level Corporate M&A Associate to join its dynamic Boston-based team. This opportunity is ideal for an associate looking to take on a high level of responsibility in sophisticated transactional matters while benefiting from hands-on mentorship and a clear path to advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate key transaction documents, including merger agreements, stock and asset purchase agreements, and letters of intent
  • Lead and support M&A transactions from structuring through closing
  • Conduct and oversee due diligence processes
  • Advise clients on corporate governance, commercial agreements, and general corporate matters
  • Assist with debt and equity offerings and other sophisticated financing transactions
  • Collaborate directly with clients and internal teams to deliver strategic, business-focused advice

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in Corporate M&A, with strong exposure to complex transactions
  • Proven ability to draft and negotiate core M&A documentation
  • Experience managing significant aspects of transactions, including closings and diligence
  • Familiarity with corporate finance matters, including debt and equity offerings

Qualifications

  • Strong academic credentials and exceptional communication skills
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality client service in a fast-paced environment
  • J.D. required, along with prior experience working in a law firm
