Corporate M&A Associate – Mid to Senior Level

About the role

You’ll be part of a top-ranked corporate team advising blue-chip clients on complex mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, recapitalizations, and corporate governance issues. You’ll work closely with partners and clients from day one, with opportunities to lead transactions and manage all phases of the deal cycle.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with partners and clients from day one
• Manage full deal lifecycle (preferred)
• Lead transactions
• Conduct due diligence
• Prepare and negotiate transaction documents
• Provide strategic advice on corporate governance and M&A matters
• Collaborate with other practice groups as needed

Requirements

• JD from a top-tier law school
• 3–8 years of experience with M&A and general corporate transactions
• Experience managing full deal lifecycle is strongly preferred
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated commitment to excellence
• Admitted to the Illinois Bar or eligible for admission

Pay

Salary Range: $310,000 – $435,000 (DOE)
