Corporate M&A Associate (Mid-Level) – DAL

About the Role

Greenberg Traurig (GT) is seeking a 4th–6th year associate to join the Corporate practice in our Dallas, TX office. This full-time position offers the opportunity to train and work with a dynamic, nationally recognized practice group at a top firm on the Am Law Global 100.

Responsibilities

• Represent private equity funds, independent sponsors, and portfolio companies in M&A transactions, capital raises, and debt and securities offerings.
• Draft operating and partnership agreements.
• Manage day-to-day legal needs of portfolio companies.
• Lead M&A transactions from inception to closing, including majority and minority equity issuances.
• Handle general corporate and corporate governance matters.
• Collaborate effectively across practice areas and mentor junior associates.
• Negotiate and draft key transaction documents.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on private equity, M&A, and securities transactions.
• Admission to the Texas Bar.
• Strong academic background and superior drafting and research skills.
• Proven experience negotiating and drafting M&A transaction documents.
• Diligent, detail-oriented, proactive, and team-oriented with a personable demeanor.
• Willingness to participate in community and professional organizations for professional development.
